Benedicta. Rome, Italy

“We have been on lockdown since the 10th of March. The hardest part for me has been being away from home. I’m from Brescia in northern Italy, and my beloved city has been affected very badly by the virus. I’ve struggled with so many things in the last few weeks: the need to carrying business as usual, the overwhelming need for social connection of others, the too much content posted online and some people’s different view of faith as a believer. Slowly but surely, I’m having my energy back to carry on with my job with my students back in their home countries, finding the right balance with the social interaction via the internet, and through faith I’m able to experience peace in the middle of the chaos.”
