Nursery school teacher in Rome.

“March 4 was my last working day before the long quarantine. Initially, in the great confusion of the moment, we did not really know how to do “didactic” for such young children; our work is focused on contact and observation and as the days go by I wonder what do children really learn by only watching the video tutorials we send them daily? I fear a bit the time when the school reopens, not only because we will have to restart a path where children are going to be separated from their parents, but above all because in this long period far from concrete and real stimuli, will the children be able to return to play in a group? And to get dirty and experiment freely? And how long will it take to see them happy again? “
